Founded by Balázs Szőllősi

OTARA was founded by Balázs Szőllősi, a young entrepreneur and university student with a strong passion for branding, design, and building meaningful businesses.

The idea for OTARA started from a very personal frustration. While researching luxury skincare and personal care brands, I realized that many products marketed as 'premium' were often built more around image than actual quality. Expensive branding, exaggerated claims, and artificial exclusivity seemed to matter more than the product itself.

I wanted to create something more honest.

OTARA was built around the belief that luxury should not only be about appearance. It should also be about experience, quality, and intention. My goal was to create products that feel refined and premium while remaining accessible and realistic.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted the brand to have a positive impact outside of business. Part of the vision behind OTARA is supporting people and communities that often receive less attention. As the brand grows, a portion of profits and selected initiatives will contribute to charitable causes and social projects that align with our values.
